Getting There

  • Air Transfer

    Kadizora Camp is primarily accessed by air via Kadizora Airstrip. Most visitors will fly into Maun Airport (MUB) or Kasane Airport (BBK) and then take a connecting charter flight to the camp's airstrip. Several air charter companies operate in the area, and Kadizora Camp can assist with arranging these flights. The flight from Maun is approximately 35 minutes, while the flight from Kasane is about 1 hour 20 minutes. Transfers between the airstrip and the camp are included in the stay.

Kadizora Camp, nestled in the remote northern reaches of Botswana's Okavango Delta, provides an immersive safari experience within a 120,000-hectare unfenced concession. Situated between the Vumbura River and Selinda Spillway, the camp overlooks a panoramic seasonal floodplain, attracting a diverse array of wildlife year-round. Giant marulas, sycamore figs, and rain trees create a shaded canopy throughout the camp. The camp features a horseshoe-shaped layout with a bar, lounge, reception, and dining area surrounding a sandy fire pit. A decked walkway leads to a swimming pool with floodplain views. Accommodation options include standard and luxury tents, each positioned for privacy and offering views of the African landscape. The luxury tents boast en-suite bathrooms with a feature bath and his/her vanities. Kadizora Camp provides a range of activities to explore the Okavango Delta. Morning and afternoon game drives in open vehicles, guided by experienced rangers, offer opportunities to spot the Big Five, as well as giraffe, cheetah, and hyena. Walking safaris provide a different perspective, while mokoro excursions in traditional canoes allow for exploring the waterways. Boat trips and fishing expeditions are also available. A unique offering is the hot air balloon safaris, providing aerial views of the Delta. Cultural village tours offer insights into local life. Kadizora Camp is accessed via Kadizora Airstrip, with flights from Maun taking approximately 35 minutes. Flights from Kasane take around 1 hour 20 minutes, and transfers from other Delta camps are approximately 30 minutes.
