Air Travel
The primary access point to Delta Camp is via Maun International Airport (MUB). From Maun, guests typically take a light aircraft transfer to the Delta Camp Airstrip. These flights are usually operated as shuttle services, with Mack Air being a common provider. The flight duration is approximately 20 minutes from Maun. Expect to pay between US$220 and US$260 per person each way for the flight. Upon arrival at the airstrip, a Delta Camp guide will meet you for a mokoro ride to the camp.
Mokoro
After landing at the Delta Camp Airstrip, the final approach to the camp involves a scenic mokoro ride. The mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, is the quintessential mode of transport in the Okavango Delta. The ride from the airstrip to Delta Camp takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on water levels. This transfer is typically included in the camp's all-inclusive rates.
