Public Transport
To reach Wood Pecker via public transport, take a bus or shared taxi from Gaborone to the Mokolodi area. Buses leave from the Gaborone Bus Station and typically cost 10 to 20 BWP. From the Mokolodi area, you may need to hire a local taxi for the last few kilometers to the park, which could cost 50 to 100 BWP, depending on negotiation.
