Public Transportation
From Itaituba, go to the main bus terminal and look for buses heading towards Jacareacanga. Purchase a ticket for around BRL 30 and ask the driver to let you off at the park entrance; the journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. From there, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange a ride with a guide to reach the park entrance, which could cost an additional BRL 50-100 depending on the distance.
Car
From Itaituba, head southeast on Av. Pedro Rodrigues until you reach the junction with BR-163. Merge onto BR-163 and follow it for approximately 120 kilometers. Watch for signs indicating directions to Parque Nacional da Amazônia. The park entrance is located just off BR-163. Be prepared for potential tolls or fuel costs, as well as any necessary food and water supplies for the journey. Car rentals in Itaituba are about R$100 per day, plus insurance.
