Public Transportation

If you do not have a car, you can take a bus from Curitiba to Paranaguá. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Curitiba (Rodoviária de Curitiba) and the journey takes about 2 hours. The bus fare is around R$20. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Paranaguá, follow the signs to the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to Ilha do Mel.
