    From Bodoquena, take Rodovia Bodoquena (MS-339) towards the Boca da Onça Ecotour complex. Buraco do Macaco is located within the complex, approximately 34 km from the city center. Parking is available on-site. Note that road conditions can vary, so drive carefully.

    From Bonito, taxis or ride-sharing services can take you to Boca da Onça Ecotour. The journey is approximately 55 km and takes about 1 hour. A one-way trip may cost between R$ 80-100 BRL. Confirm the fare before starting your journey.

This natural cave, sculpted over time by erosion and underground streams, is named in honor of the monkeys that inhabit the region. The adventure begins with a trek through the verdant landscapes of the Boca da Onça Ecotour, where you'll traverse a 2,100-meter trail, passing seven waterfalls, three of which are perfect for a refreshing dip.The highlight is the Buraco do Macaco waterfall itself. To fully experience it, visitors swim through a submerged tunnel, emerging into a hidden grotto behind the cascading water. The experience offers a unique perspective of the falls and the surrounding rock formations. The Boca da Onça Ecotour also features the Boca da Onça waterfall, the highest in Mato Grosso do Sul, and panoramic views of the Salobra River Canyon and Serra da Bodoquena.Travelers should note that the use of appropriate footwear (closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles) is mandatory for the trails and stairways.
