Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Asa Sul neighborhood, start by heading north on any main street towards the central area. You can take the Avenida das Nações (Nations Avenue) which runs parallel to the main axis of the city. Follow this avenue until you reach the junction with the Eixo Monumental, which is the major avenue that leads directly to the Esplanada dos Ministérios.

  Once you arrive at the Eixo Monumental, continue walking north until you see the large green spaces that lead to the Esplanada dos Ministérios. The Catedral Metropolitana Nossa Senhora Aparecida is located at Esplanada dos Ministérios lote 12. It's a prominent structure, so you should be able to see its unique architecture from a distance.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If walking is not preferred, you can take a bus from a nearby bus stop in Asa Sul. Look for buses heading towards the Esplanada dos Ministérios or the central area of Brasília.
