From the center of Lençóis, Poço Halley is accessible via a pleasant walk through the Muritiba Municipal Park. Start at the Tourist Assistance Center (CAT) for an overview of the route. Follow the well-marked trails, enjoying the views of the geological formations. The walk to Poço Halley is approximately 5km and is considered easy to moderate in difficulty. There are no entrance fees for the park or Poço Halley.
Public Transport
Alternatively, take a local bus or shared taxi (lotação) from Lençóis towards Chapada Diamantina National Park. The fare is around R$10-15. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest access point for Poço Halley. From there, a 1-2 km walk is required to reach the waterfall. Be prepared for a slightly uneven path.
