From Lençóis, Poço Halley is accessible via a scenic hike through Muritiba Park. Start from the city center and head towards the Banco do Brasil, then pass the Polícia Militar, continuing uphill until you reach the water treatment facility. Turn right and follow the pipeline that brings water to the facility. Continue following the river upstream. The hike to Poço Halley typically takes about 30-45 minutes. Ensure you have water and appropriate hiking shoes, as the trail can be rocky and steep in some areas. There may be an entrance fee for the Muritiba Park. A local guide is recommended.

Public Transport
From Lençóis, take a local bus or shared taxi (lotação) heading toward the Chapada Diamantina National Park. The fare is approximately R$10-15. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest access point for Poço Halley. From there, walk about 1-2 km to reach the waterfall. Be prepared for a bit of hiking, as the path may be uneven.

If driving from Lençóis, head south on BR-242. After approximately 6 km, take the exit toward BA-142. Continue on BA-142 for about 15 km until you reach the entrance of the Chapada Diamantina National Park. Follow the signs for Poço Halley. The road may become unpaved, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain. After another 6 km, you will arrive at a parking area where you can leave your car before continuing on foot. Parking costs are not available.
