From Alto Paraíso de Goiás, take GO-239 towards Vila de São Jorge for approximately 8 km. Look for a left turn indicating the entrance to Fazenda São Bento. Follow the unpaved road for about 4 km to the parking area near the trailhead. From there, it's a 1.5 km hike to Cachoeira Almécegas I. Entrance fee to Fazenda São Bento is approximately R$70, which includes access to Almécegas I and II, and Poço São Bento.

From the Fazenda São Bento parking area, the trail to Cachoeira Almécegas I is approximately 1.5 km. The trail is well-marked but includes some steep sections. Follow the signs towards the waterfall, taking caution on the steeper parts of the path. No additional costs beyond the entrance fee to Fazenda São Bento (R$70).
