Getting There

    From Alto Paraíso de Goiás, the main gateway to Chapada dos Veadeiros, drive towards Vila de São Jorge. The park entrance is about 36 km away on a paved road. Once in São Jorge, follow signs to the specific trailheads you wish to explore. Parking fees may apply at some trailheads (around R$5). Be aware that some roads leading to attractions outside the park can be unpaved and rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

  • Bus

    Take a bus from Brasília to Alto Paraíso de Goiás. From Alto Paraíso, there is one bus a day to São Jorge, departing at 6 PM. From São Jorge, walk or take a taxi/moto-taxi to the park entrance and trailheads. Bus fare from Brasilia to Alto Paraiso is around R$100 (round trip). Moto-taxi from São Jorge to trailheads may cost around R$15-R$30.
