If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in downtown Florianópolis. Follow Av. Jornalista Rubens de Arruda Ramos towards the south, then take the SC-403 towards Bombas. The ride is approximately 12 km and will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you reach Praia de Bombas, there are bike racks available to lock your bike.
