From the main bus station in Florianópolis (Terminal Rodoviário Rita Maria), take bus number 360 (Rio Vermelho) or 361 (São João do Rio Vermelho). The buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Confirm with the bus driver that they stop near Rio Vermelho State Park. The ride takes about 40 minutes. Disembark at the stop for 'Rod. João Gualberto Soares'.

After getting off the bus, head towards Rod. João Gualberto Soares. Walk along this road for about 1 kilometer until you see the entrance to Rio Vermelho State Park on your right. The park entrance is well-marked and has a sign indicating the park's name.

Bicycle (Optional)
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from local rental shops in Florianópolis. Follow the same bus route to reach the vicinity of the park. Once you get off, bike along Rod. João Gualberto Soares, which has bike lanes, making it a safer option. It's a scenic ride, and you'll reach the park entrance in about 15 minutes.
