From the center of Florianópolis, head to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário Rita Maria). Take bus number 320 (Jardim Eldorado) or 330 (Ratones) towards Lagoa da Conceição. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Ratones' stop.

After getting off the bus at Ratones, walk towards the small dirt road located next to the bus stop. Follow the road for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance of the Trilha Costa da Lagoa. Look for a sign indicating the trailhead.
