    From Fortaleza, take a bus from the main bus terminal ('Terminal Rodoviário Engenheiro João Thomé') towards Caucaia or Cumbuco. After 30-40 minutes, arrive at the Caucaia bus station. From there, you can take a 'mototáxi' (motorbike taxi) for a 15-minute ride to Lagoa do Cauípe. Bus fare to Caucaia/Cumbuco is approximately R$4-R$8.

    From the Caucaia bus station, walk northwest on Estrada do Cumbuco for about 2 kilometers, following signs to Cumbuco. Then follow signs for Lagoa do Cauípe. The walk takes about 25-30 minutes. This option has no additional cost.
