If you are in the Centro area, Martyrs' Square is easily accessible on foot. From the Dragão do Mar Center of Art and Culture, walk south on Rua Dragão do Mar until you reach Avenida Almirante Barroso. Turn left and continue until you see the square on your right. The walk is about 10 minutes.
Public Transport
From other parts of Fortaleza, use the city's bus network. Look for buses heading towards 'Centro' or 'Praça dos Mártires'. A one-way bus fare is R$4.50. The bus ride from the Dragão do Mar Cultural Center takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
