For a more adventurous route, you can hike from Vila do Abraão. Follow the trail towards Praia de Jurubá, a trek of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The trail is well-marked but includes some steep sections, so wear good hiking shoes and bring water and snacks. Alternatively, you can walk from Praia do Pouso on the T12 trail in the direction of the lighthouse ('Farol'), which takes around 30 minutes.
