Walking/Biking
From Jericoacoara village, head southeast towards the dirt road leading out of town. The ride is approximately 8 kilometers and typically takes 30-40 minutes by bicycle. Ensure you have a map or GPS, as the path can sometimes be confusing. The walk is longer, allow at least 1.5 - 2 hours. There are no entrance fees or special transport tickets required to access Lagoa Preta.
Taxi/4x4 Transfer
Alternatively, arrange a taxi or 4x4 transfer from Jericoacoara to Lagoa Preta. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Taxis can be found in Jericoacoara village center. A taxi ride will cost approximately R$75-R$90. Negotiate the price beforehand. No additional fees are required upon arrival at the lagoon.
