Walking
If you're in the central area of Olinda, make your way to Rua do Amparo. From the historic center, walk towards the main road, Rua 27 de Janeiro. Walk downhill towards the coast until you reach the intersection with Rua do Amparo. Turn left onto Rua do Amparo and continue for about 10 minutes. Amparo Largo will be on your left, recognized by its vibrant atmosphere and local attractions.
Public Transport
From any point in Olinda, take a local bus heading towards the Varadouro area. Look for buses marked 'Olinda - Varadouro'. These buses typically run frequently throughout the day. Once on the bus, request to be dropped off at the nearest stop to Rua do Amparo. After disembarking, walk towards Rua do Amparo, a short distance away. Follow the street until you reach Amparo Largo, located at 334-386 Rua do Amparo. The bus fare is approximately R$3.00.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are available in Olinda. A taxi from Recife (Port) to Olinda will cost approximately R$40-R$50. An Uber ride of 20 minutes in Olinda will cost approximately R$20. Be aware that prices may be adjusted at the end of the trip if surcharges or tolls differ from the estimated upfront price.
