If you're already in Ipanema, the easiest way to reach Pedra do Arpoador is by walking. Head towards the end of Ipanema Beach closest to the Dois Irmãos mountains. Walk along the beach promenade until you reach Av. Francisco Bhering. Continue straight, and you'll see Pedra do Arpoador at the end of the beach. The walk takes about 15-20 minutes.

If you are coming from further inland, take a bus towards the beach. Look for buses marked 'Ipanema' or 'Arpoador'. Ask the driver to let you off at 'Posto 8', a well-known landmark in Ipanema.
