Start your journey by taking the Metro. Board the Metro Line 1 (Laranja) at any station in the city center or nearby areas, heading towards the direction of 'Jardim Oceânico'. Get off at the 'Botafogo' station. From Botafogo, exit the station and walk towards the Botafogo Praia Shopping mall, which is located on the waterfront.

Once you reach Botafogo Praia Shopping, find the bus stop near the mall. Look for the bus line 511 (Urca) or 512 (Pão de Açúcar). Board the bus and inform the driver that you are going to Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar). The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the Sugarloaf Mountain entrance.

Once you have disembarked from the bus, follow the signs directing you to the entrance of Sugarloaf Mountain. You will need to walk a short distance through the picturesque Urca neighborhood, enjoying the local scenery. The entrance to the cable car station is located at Av. Pasteur, 520 - Urca, Rio de Janeiro. Look for the large ticket office and cable car station.

At the Sugarloaf Mountain entrance, purchase your ticket for the cable car ride. The cable car will take you up to the first peak of Urca, and then you will transfer to another cable car that will take you to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain.
