Public Transportation
Start from the Copacabana area. Take the Metrô Rio (subway) from the 'Cardeal Arcoverde' station (Line 1) towards 'Jardim Oceânico'. Get off at 'Ipanema - General Osório' station. From there, exit the station and head to the 'Praia de Ipanema' beach area. At the beach, look for the bus stop near 'Posto 9'. Take bus line 583 or 584 (heading towards 'Lagoa' or 'Jardim Botânico') and get off at the 'Lagoa' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards 'Parque da Catacumba' which is well-signposted.
