From Ipanema Beach (Posto 9), walk east along Avenida Vieira Souto towards Copacabana. Pedra do Arpoador is located at the end of Ipanema Beach, where it meets Praia do Diabo. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. No costs involved.

Take the Metro Line 1 to General Osório Station in Ipanema. From the station, walk southeast along Rua Jangadeiros, then turn left onto Avenida Vieira Souto. Continue along the avenue until you reach Pedra do Arpoador. The total walk is about 15 minutes. A single metro ticket costs R$7.50.
