Anegada: A Secluded Coral Paradise

Anegada, meaning 'drowned land' in Spanish, stands apart from the volcanic origins of the other British Virgin Islands as the only coral and limestone island in the chain. Its highest point reaches only 28 feet above sea level, contributing to its unique landscape of flat terrain and expansive beaches. Located approximately 15 miles north of Virgin Gorda, Anegada offers a remote and tranquil escape. The island is renowned for its stunning white-sand beaches, including Loblolly Bay and Cow Wreck Beach, where visitors can unwind in a peaceful setting.
