Getting there

Ferry

The most common way to reach Pomato Point is by ferry from Tortola or Virgin Gorda to Anegada. Smith's Ferry Service operates from Road Town, Tortola, to Setting Point, Anegada, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. From Setting Point, Pomato Point is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride. Ferry fares are around $35 one-way for adults. A taxi from Setting Point to Pomato Point will cost approximately $20-$30.

From The Settlement, the main town on Anegada, taxis are readily available. A taxi ride to Pomato Point is approximately 5 miles and should take around 15 minutes. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey, but expect to pay around $20-$30. Note that taxis are the most convenient option, especially if you have luggage or prefer a direct route.

Car Rental

If you prefer to explore Anegada independently, consider renting a jeep or truck. Several rental agencies operate on the island. From the ferry dock in Setting Point or the airport, follow the main road west towards The Settlement. Continue past The Settlement, following signs for West End. Pomato Point is located on the north side of the island, past West End. Car rentals typically cost $45-$55 per day. Parking is free and readily available near Pomato Point.
