    From Cruz Bay, take the Vitran bus heading towards Coral Bay. Inform the driver you wish to get off at Turtle Bay. The bus ride costs $1 per person. Keep an eye out for the beach access signs; the bus will drop you off a short walk from the beach entrance.

    From Cruz Bay, head south on North Shore Road (Route 20). Continue until you see signs for Turtle Bay. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs to Turtle Bay. Parking is available in a designated area near the beach. Parking costs vary, so be prepared to pay an hourly or daily rate.

Turtle Bay Beach is a hidden gem on the north shore of St. John, USVI, offering a tranquil escape with beautiful views of Henley Cay, Ramgoat Cay, and Lovango Cay across the Durloe Channel. Once part of the Caneel Bay Resort, this beach is now accessible to the public.The beach is ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling. The calm waters and vibrant coral reefs make it a popular spot for observing diverse marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles, and stingrays. Snorkeling is particularly rewarding along the rocky coral outcroppings on both sides of the bay.While the Caneel Bay Resort is currently closed, the transfer of the land to the National Park Service on April 22, 2024, has opened up access to this beautiful beach. The beach was also featured in Sports Illustrated's 2015 swimsuit issue, adding to its allure. Remember to bring your own refreshments and beach gear, as the beach is not heavily commercialized.
