Getting There

    From the Valley, the main town on Virgin Gorda, head north on North Sound Road. After approximately 5 minutes, look for a small blue sign indicating the turnoff to Savannah Bay Road. This road is unpaved and requires careful driving, but a 4x4 vehicle is not necessary. Follow the road to the end, where you'll find a small parking area overlooking the beach. Parking is free. Note that spaces are limited, so arriving early is recommended.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Spanish Town (The Valley) on Virgin Gorda. A taxi to Savannah Bay from the Valley will cost approximately $4-7 per person. Arrange a pick-up time with your driver for the return journey, as taxis are not always readily available at the beach. The drive is about 5 minutes.

  • Ferry and Taxi

    From Tortola, take a ferry to Virgin Gorda. Speedy's Ferry and Tortola Fast Ferry offer regular service between Road Town, Tortola, and Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda. The ferry ride is approximately 30 minutes. A round-trip adult fare is about $30, and a one-way fare is around $20. Upon arrival in Spanish Town, take a taxi to Savannah Bay, which costs $4-7 per person.
