Ferry
The most common way to reach Jost Van Dyke is by ferry from Tortola. Ferries depart multiple times a day from West End, Tortola (Soper's Hole) to Jost Van Dyke's ferry dock in Great Harbour. The ride is about 25 minutes. New Horizon Ferry Service is a regular service. A round trip costs around $40 USD, and a one way ticket is $30 USD. Alternatively, ferries are available from St. Thomas or St. John (USVI) to Jost Van Dyke, but these run less frequently (often only Fri–Sun). The ferry takes about 30 minutes from St. John (Cruz Bay) or an hour from St. Thomas (Red Hook). From the Great Harbour ferry dock, Jost Van Dyke Scuba is a short walk along the beach.

For a more direct and customized trip, consider a private water taxi from Tortola, St. Thomas, or St. John. This option is more expensive but offers flexibility and convenience.
