Taxi
From the Tortola Cruise Ship Port in Road Town, a taxi is the most convenient way to reach D'CoalPot. Taxis are readily available at the port. The ride to Carrot Bay takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. A one-way taxi fare for a shared safari taxi (3 or more people) is around $12 per person. For fewer than 3 people, expect to pay a higher rate, potentially $27 for the ride. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

Driving
If you are driving from Road Town, take the Waterfront Drive west towards the West End. Follow the main road (Route 1) along the coast. The drive to Carrot Bay is approximately 10 miles and takes about 30-40 minutes. As you approach Carrot Bay, D'CoalPot will be on your right, directly on the waterfront. There is a designated parking lot in Carrot Bay where visitors can park for free. Be aware that roads in Tortola can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.
