If you are starting from the center of Bandar Seri Begawan, make your way to the iconic Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, located at Jalan Tutong. From the mosque, head south along Jalan Tutong until you reach the intersection with Jalan Kota Batu. Turn left onto Jalan Kota Batu and continue walking straight. Keep an eye out for directional signs. After approximately 1.5 kilometers of walking, you will arrive at the Mausoleum of Sultan Sharif Ali, which will be on your right. The mausoleum is located at VXM8+CVH, Kampung Kota Batu.

From the center of Bandar Seri Begawan, you can take a local bus that heads towards Kampung Kota Batu. Board the bus at any of the bus stops along Jalan Cator, and inform the driver that you wish to go to Kampung Kota Batu. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Kampung Kota Batu, disembark at the nearest bus stop to the mausoleum. Walk towards VXM8+CVH, and you should find the Mausoleum of Sultan Sharif Ali a short walk away.
