You will find a jetty or boat station where you can catch a water taxi to Kampong Ayer. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you are at the waterfront area near the Royal Wharf, you can board a water taxi directly to Kampong Ayer. Look for the water taxi docks where you can pay a small fare (usually around BND 1-2) to get to your destination. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kampong Ayer. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes and offers scenic views of the river and the water village.

You can also take a public boat from the nearby jetty located at the waterfront area. These boats are slightly larger and may have more scheduled times. They operate on a set route to Kampong Ayer.
