Walking
If you are in the center of Bangar, start by heading east on Jalan Bangar towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left onto Jalan Muara. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto Jalan Istana Darussalam. Follow this road for about 500 meters, and you will see Istana Darussalam on your right side. The landmark is a notable structure, so it should be easy to spot.
Bicycle
Starting from Bangar town center, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle east along Jalan Bangar towards the main road. Turn left onto Jalan Muara and continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers. At the fork in the road, take the right onto Jalan Istana Darussalam. Continue cycling for about 500 meters until you see Istana Darussalam on your right. This route is fairly straightforward and allows you to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
Public Transport
From Bangar, check for local bus services that operate towards Bandar Seri Begawan. Board the bus and inform the driver that you wish to get off at Jalan Istana Darussalam. The bus will take you close to the entrance of Istana Darussalam. Once you get off, walk along Jalan Istana Darussalam for about 200 meters, and you will arrive at the landmark. Make sure to confirm the bus schedule ahead of time for a smooth journey.
