Its modern light-emitting diode lighting emits three white flashes every 15 seconds, with a range of 45 kilometers (28 mi), guiding ships safely toward Lumut.Completed in November 2004 and inaugurated in March 2005, the lighthouse has become a symbol of maritime safety and the region's rich seafaring past.
