Start your journey from the Muara Jetty area. Head south along the main road, Jalan Muara. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Jalan Simpang 637. Turn left onto Jalan Simpang 637 and follow this road for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs along the way indicating the direction towards Bukit Pawas. As you approach, look for a trailhead on your right that leads up to the hill. The hike to Bukit Pawas will take around 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Muara Beach area. Take Jalan Muara heading south for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Jalan Simpang 637.
