    From the Seria Bus Terminal, take a bus heading towards Lumut. Buses typically operate hourly, and the fare is around BND 5. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. From the Lumut bus stop, it's about a 1 km walk to the lighthouse. Head southeast on Jalan Lumut, following the road towards the coast.

    Taxis are available in major towns like Seria. A taxi from Seria to Lumut Lighthouse will cost approximately BND 32 and take around 23 minutes. Agree on the fare beforehand.

    From the center of Tutong District, head northwest on Jalan Tutong towards Jalan Lumut. Continue straight for about 16 km until you reach the Lumut area. Look for the signs indicating Lumut Lighthouse. When you arrive at the coordinates JCX5+QCR, you will find the lighthouse nearby. Parking is available near the lighthouse.

    The Lumut Lighthouse (Rumah Api Lumut) is more than just a navigational aid; it's a symbol of Brunei's maritime heritage. Located in Kampong Sungai Kayu Ara, it falls under the administration of Kampong Lumut II in Mukim Liang, Belait District. Standing 32 meters (105 ft) tall, the lighthouse was inaugurated in March 2005, after being constructed in November 2004.The lighthouse is painted in a distinctive red, white, and blue pattern and emits three white flashes every 15 seconds, with a range of 45 kilometers (28 mi). This helps ships navigate the South China Sea, especially those approaching Lumut, a port west of Brunei Bay. The lighthouse's importance was highlighted when it was visited by the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah in 2006.Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and learn about the lighthouse's role in ensuring safe passage for seafarers. The surrounding area offers a tranquil environment, perfect for leisurely strolls and photography, especially during sunset.
