The Tea-Pot Roundabout, officially known as Tugu Replika Sumbangsih Ciri, is a distinctive landmark in Kuala Belait, Brunei. Located at the intersection of Jalan Singa Menteri and Jalan Pandan Lima, this roundabout features a large, whimsical teapot sculpture surrounded by four cups. Built in 2001, the Tea-Pot Roundabout was commissioned by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) as a gift to Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah in honor of Visit Brunei Year. Standing at 18 meters (58 feet) tall, the concrete monument has a teapot at the top and four cups, each symbolizing one of Brunei's four districts: Brunei-Muara, Tutong, Belait, and Temburong. The teapot represents the Sultan, who is seen to pour his love out evenly to his people. The Tea-Pot Roundabout is more than just a traffic circle; it embodies Brunei's tranquil yet vibrant lifestyle. The roundabout is beautifully landscaped with greenery and flowers, making it a pleasant place for a stroll and a popular spot for photographs.
