Car
If you have access to a car, start your journey from the capital city, Bandar Seri Begawan. Drive towards the Temburong District via the Brunei-Muara Highway (Route 4). After approximately 30 km, you will reach the Temburong border. Continue driving until you reach the Bangar Town, which is the capital of Temburong District. From Bangar, follow the signs to Tasek Merimbun, which is located about 12 km away. The road to Tasek Merimbun is well-paved, and you will pass through some beautiful natural scenery. Parking is available near the lake area.

Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, begin your journey in Bandar Seri Begawan. Take a bus (Bus 1 or Bus 14) to the Temburong Ferry Terminal. The fare is approximately BND 1. After reaching the terminal, you will need to take a boat to Bangar Town. The boat ride costs around BND 5 and takes about 30 minutes. Once in Bangar, you can either rent a car or take a taxi to Tasek Merimbun, which is about a 12 km drive. Make sure to negotiate the taxi fare or confirm the meter is running before starting your ride.
