    From Bandar Seri Begawan, take the highway towards Tutong. Continue to Tutong Town, then head northwest on Jalan Tutong towards Jalan Kianggeh. Follow Jalan Kianggeh for about 6 kilometers until you reach the Tasek Merimbun road sign. Turn left onto the access road and follow the signs for approximately 3 kilometers until you arrive at Tasek Merimbun. Parking is available near the lake.

    From Bandar Seri Begawan, take a bus to Tutong Town. From Tutong Town, take another bus heading towards Bangar. Alight at the nearest junction to Tasek Merimbun, which is around a 2-kilometer walk to the lake. Bus fare from Mukim Bangar is approximately BND 1-2. Check bus schedules for the return trip.

Tasek Merimbun, located in the Tutong District of Brunei, is the nation's largest natural lake and a designated ASEAN Heritage Park. Approximately 70 kilometers from Bandar Seri Begawan, the lake is the centerpiece of the 7,800-hectare Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park. Formed around 5.7 million years ago, the lake's unique S-shape and dark waters, caused by tannins from falling leaves, create a mesmerizing landscape. Over 200 species of birds have been recorded in the park, making it an Important Bird Area.
