From the center of Burgas, walk to the Burgas Central Bus Station (Автогара Юг) located at 1 Tzar Boris III Obedinitel Boulevard. Once there, take bus number 15 or 22 towards Sarafovo. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Lake Atanasovsko'. From the bus stop, walk towards the lake; it will be a few minutes' walk ahead.

If you are near the beach area in Burgas, head northeast towards the main road (Ulitsa Aleksandrovska). Follow this road until you reach the intersection with 'Ulitsa 24th September'. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Ulitsa Tzar Osvoboditel'. From there, turn right and walk straight until you reach the lake. This walk is approximately 3 kilometers and will take about 35-40 minutes.
