From Sofia, head west on the A1 highway towards Pernik. Continue on the A1 for about 70 km until you reach the exit for the E79 road towards Montana. Follow the E79 for approximately 30 km until you reach the turnoff for Varshets. From Varshets, follow local signs for Klisurski Monastery, which is located about 5 km from the town center. Parking is available near the monastery and is free of charge.

Take a bus from Sofia to Montana from the Central Bus Station; buses run regularly. The journey takes about 2 hours and costs around 15 BGN. From Montana, transfer to a local bus heading to Varshets, which takes about 30 minutes and costs around 3 BGN. From the Varshets bus station, take a taxi for approximately 10 BGN or walk the 5 km to Klisurski Monastery, following local signs.
