Walking
From the center of Gabrovo, start at pl. Vazrazhdane and head east on бул. „3-ти март“. Continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Парк „Маркотея“ as you approach. The park is located on your right, just after you pass the Долни Бакойци neighborhood. There are no tolls or specific access fees for walking to the park. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Gabrovo bus station, take bus number 5 or 6 towards Долни Бакойци. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Парк „Маркотея“ stop. The park entrance is a short walk from the bus stop. A one-way ticket on public transport costs approximately 1.50 BGN.
