If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Yakoruda. Drive towards the Rila Mountains, taking the road that leads to the Rila Monastery. Follow the signs for the Rila Monastery and continue past it. After about 20 minutes, you will reach a parking area near the starting point of the Kovach peak trail. Make sure to park in designated areas to avoid fines. Note that there may be a small parking fee, usually around 5 BGN (Bulgarian Lev).
