Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, Burgas. Head northwest on the E87 highway towards Pomorie. After approximately 20 km, take the exit for Pomorie. Follow the signs towards the city center. Once in Pomorie, navigate to ul. Knjaz Boris I, where you will find Saint George Monastery at number 108. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to walk a short distance to the monastery.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Saint George Monastery using public transportation, take a bus from Burgas to Pomorie. Buses run frequently from the Burgas Central Bus Station to Pomorie and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pomorie Bus Station, exit and walk towards ul. Knjaz Boris I. The monastery is located about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km) from the bus station. Follow the road towards the main street and look for signs to the monastery.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route or if you're traveling late at night, consider taking a taxi. You can easily find taxis at the Burgas Central Bus Station or the Pomorie Bus Station. A taxi from Burgas to Saint George Monastery will cost approximately 30-40 BGN (Bulgarian Lev), while a taxi from Pomorie to the monastery should cost around 10-15 BGN. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
