    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Sredna Gora. Take the main road heading towards Veliko Tarnovo (the A2 road). Continue on this road for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach Veliko Tarnovo. Once you arrive in Veliko Tarnovo, follow the signs to Tsarevets Hill. The parking area is nearby, and from there, you can either walk or take a local shuttle to get closer to Skull Rock. The entrance to the Tsarevets fortress is around 3 leva (approximately 1.50 euros).

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Sredna Gora to Veliko Tarnovo. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Veliko Tarnovo bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Tsarevets Hill. If walking, head towards the center of town and follow the signs to the fortress. It's about a 20-minute walk. Entrance to the Tsarevets fortress is approximately 3 leva (about 1.50 euros). From the fortress, follow the paths that lead towards Skull Rock.
