Experience Breathtaking Views at the Galata Observation Deck

Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Varna city center, head to the Varna Bus Station (Автогара Варна). You can take bus number 148, which goes directly to Asparuhovo. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Asparuhovo stop, exit the bus and follow the signs leading towards the beach. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the entrance to the Galata Observation Deck. It is a short uphill walk from the beach.

• Walking

  If you are near the Asparuhovo neighborhood, you can walk to the Observation Deck. Start from the Asparuhovo Park and head towards the coast. Follow the path along the beach, and look for signs pointing towards the Observation Deck. The walk is scenic and will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Be mindful of the uphill trail as you approach the deck itself.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Varna. Ride towards the Asparuhovo area by following the coastal road. The route is relatively flat until you reach the entrance of the Observation Deck where you will have to bike uphill for a short distance. Secure your bike at the designated area before heading to the viewing platform.
