Car
If you're driving to Павлова чешма, start from the center of Sofia and head south on the Blvd. Tsar Boris III. Continue onto the Daskal Stoyanov St. and follow signs for Vitosha Mountain. Once you reach the entrance of the park, follow the paved road towards the Aleko ski area. After about 6 km, keep an eye out for a sign indicating Pavlova Cheshma. There is limited parking available near the site, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Павлова чешма using public transport, take the metro to the station 'Vitosha' (Line M1). From there, catch bus 66 or 107 towards the Vitosha Mountain. The bus will take you to the Aleko area. Once you disembark at the Aleko stop, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes towards Павлова чешма, following the marked hiking trails. Ensure you check the bus schedule for return trips, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
Hiking
If you're already on the mountain and prefer to hike, you can start from the Aleko ski area. Follow the marked trails leading from Aleko towards the surrounding attractions. The hike to Павлова чешма is approximately 3 km and should take around 1 hour on foot. The trails are well-marked, so simply follow the signs, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry water with you.
