Public Transport
From Sofia's city center, take the Sofia Metro Line 2 to Vitosha Metro Station. From there, take Bus 64 to Boyansko Hanche stop in the Boyana district. From the bus stop, walk to the Dragalevtsi Monastery, where the hiking trail to the waterfall begins. The bus fare is approximately 1.60 BGN. Alternatively, take a bus from Sofia's central bus station to Dragalevtsi village for around 2 BGN. From Dragalevtsi, a taxi or minibus to Aleko Hut costs approximately 10-15 BGN. From Aleko Hut, hike 4 km to the waterfall.

From Sofia, follow the Ring Road towards Vitosha Mountain and then follow the signs for Vitosha Boulevard. Continue to the Aleko Hut parking area, approximately 20 km from Sofia. Parking costs around 5 BGN for the day. From Aleko Hut, hike approximately 4 km along marked trails to the Upper Aleko Waterfall.

Walking
From the parking lot above Dragalevtsi Monastery, take the path towards Simeonovo Lakes. The path connects the Dragalevtsi and Simeonovo quarters. Follow the signs to Aleko Waterfall, also known as Skakavitsa. The hike takes about 1 hour, depending on your pace.
