From the center of Bubanza, take the main road heading towards Bujumbura. Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Bujumbura. Once you enter Bujumbura, look for signs directing you towards the center of the city. As you approach the city center, navigate to the coordinates M9HJ+7M8, which is where Buhinyunza is located. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

Public Transportation

Start at the main bus station in Bubanza and look for a bus heading to Bujumbura. The fare is typically around 1,000 BIF (Burundian Francs). The journey should take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the central bus station in Bujumbura, you can take a motorcycle taxi (known as 'boda boda') to the coordinates M9HJ+7M8. The cost for the boda boda ride should be around 2,000 BIF. Make sure to confirm the price before starting the ride.

Walking

If you find yourself close to the central bus station in Bujumbura after arriving by public transport, you can walk to Buhinyunza. From the bus station, head southwest towards Avenue du Large. Turn left onto Avenue du Large and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Révolution. Turn right and proceed for another 500 meters. Buhinyunza will be on your left at the coordinates M9HJ+7M8. Be cautious while walking as traffic can be busy.
