    From Bugesera, head towards the main road (RN1) towards Bujumbura. Drive for approximately 30 kilometers and look for signs directing you to Kibira National Park. The park entrance is located near Busiga, and you will need to follow the signs towards 2G22+225, Busiga. Upon arrival, there may be an entrance fee of around 10,000 BIF (Burundian Francs) for adults.

    Start by taking a bus or shared taxi from Bugesera to Bujumbura. Once you reach Bujumbura, look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards the direction of the Kibira National Park. You will need to ask the driver to drop you off at Busiga. From Busiga, it is best to hire a local motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto') to take you to the park entrance at 2G22+225. The total cost for public transportation may vary but budget around 5,000 BIF for the bus and 3,000 BIF for the moto taxi.
