Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Buyenzi. Head west on Avenue des États-Unis towards Avenue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Avenue du Lac. Follow this road along the lake until you see signs for Zion Beach. The beach is located at J952+M39, Bujumbura. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
You can take a local bus from Buyenzi to Bujumbura. Look for buses heading towards the northern part of the city. Ask the driver to drop you off near Avenue du Lac. From there, you may need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes towards J952+M39. Alternatively, you can look for a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you directly to Zion Beach for a small fee, typically around 1,000 BIF.
Walking
If you prefer walking and are not too far from the beach, head west from the main area of Buyenzi. Walk towards Avenue de la République, then continue to Avenue du Lac. Follow the road along the lake, enjoying the scenery until you reach the Zion Beach area at J952+M39. This walk can take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
